Ramblings

I don't know if anyone even noticed, but I have been using a new camera. A few weeks ago, I got Kyocera S5R on a whim and just had an awful time with it. It was a lemon. Colors were off, pictures had wierd tint effects, and so on. I exchanged it for another one and I have been in love with it since. It was hard to give up the S50 since it had so many more features, but the kyocera seems to be a true point and shoot, with no fuss. Night pictures are more crisp, with and without the flash. We'll have to see what the new year brings in terms of new pictures.

I spent last night hanging out with some friends, first at Hydration in San Jose, before they closed for the night, and then at the lounge at the DeAnza Hotel. I took pictures with my hands, so most pictures were still blurry, but much more crisp. My S50 was a much more difficult camera for night/dark pitures.
