My friend Ming Jou was in town yesterday, and we met up for dinner at Nagano Sushi in San Francisco. It's always a treat to see her, because she's always got something fun going on.
This night, we went to the Toyota Scion Party in Alameda. It was kind of a cool and interesting get together of Scion Car owners. They had live bands and DJ's for the party, but food came in a lunch car (roach coach) out in the rain and drinks at a mock bar inside. Of course they had Scions on display, as well as cars with Artists works on them and giant metal mechanical insect sculptures that blew colorful flames and loud backfiring pops. There wasn't much else going on, so we decided to get some food at the Lake Merrit Bakery and Restuarant, apparently a great place to go if you need a wedding cake at 2AM in the morning.
Unfortunately, most of my pictures in the dark came out pretty blurry.
