Muir Woods
We spent the day hiking in Muir Woods in Marin County yesterday, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. We hiked amongst the thousand year old redwood trees and under the beltering hot sun in the open plains.
We hiked a trail that was descibed as "Moderate to Hard Difficulty", but I thought it was OK. We hiked for more than 6 miles, almost 7, maybe even 8, because I missed a turnoff in the trail. Ok, I admit it was my fault... =P
We survived, though. Enough to get back to the little town of Mill Valley where we had an early evening dinner along the water front at Piatti's.

nice pictures. can dan and i stay at your house when we come for frank's wedding? how far are you guys away from the wedding site?
