Last night, Sabrina and I went hiking up in the Marin Headlands just north of San Francisco. We first stopped at Battery Spencer, where guns were first installed to protect the San Francisco Bay from the 1840's to the 1940's from foreign invaders. We hiked in and around the battery, before driving down towards Black Sands Beach and Rodeo Beach. We tried to make it to the Point Bonita Light House as well, but it had already closed for the day.
We had dinner at a great restuarant in downtown Sausilito, Poggio Trattoria, next to the Casa Madrona Hotel. We had an Alaskan Halibut (excellently seared) and a Dungeness crab Risotto, both of which were unbelievably delectable. It's amazing what they can do with good food these days. =)
