Just spent the last hour deleting over 850 pieces of comment spam. I like witty and smart advertising, but people who use my website to promote their illicit hedonism really disturb me.
I hope these people get caught and get sued some day. (It's a legal wish, but personally, I hope these people get dragged out and be beaten.)
Have a nice day.

Got to go to the Black Eyed Peas concert tonight! A person has to be a brave soul to withstand the frigid cold wind at candlestick park. It was that cold. Even Taboo got on the stage and said "hey, it's f'n cold!"
But it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, in a long time. They had a great mix of songs from their new album and their old albums, but the best part was their freestyle ability, and making surprising improvisation of a few cover songs.
I had such a blast, but no pictures! All cameras were banned, and the security guards were checking people at the door. Bummer. We went to Citizen Cake for desert afterwards, which i have to remember it is on the corner of Gough and GROVE Streets. (Okay, I was lost for a bit, I admit...)

Today was the actual day of Howard and Yukimi's wedding. Sabrina and I started today by having breakfast on our balcony, and then spending the day hiking Diamond Head State Monument, a former volcano crater, that was once used as a military fort during the early 20th century.
The wedding was absolutely one of the prettiest weddings I've been to this year. It was held at the beach head of the Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and offered some of the best food I've ever had at a wedding, especially one at a hotel. The ceremony went off without a hitch, even with the threat of storm clouds in the distance, but those clouds luckily passed over with only a slight sprinkle.
Today...
Breakfast at Marriot Waikiki Beach Hotel - Bannana Pancakes and Saussages.
Road trip along the east coast of Oahu Island to the Polynesian Cultural Center.
Stop at the Byodo-In Japanese Temple.
Luau at the Polynesian Cultural center, and cultural show. (The most exciting part, of course, was the fire dance.)
For our second day in Hawaii, we went snorkeling in Hanauma Bay in the morning. We almost didn't make it, because we had spent a late night out the night before and woke up late in the morning. Hanauma Bay is a very popular tourist destination so parking is extremely difficult to find if you don't get there at the right time. We ended up parking back in a shopping center almost 2 miles away, and walked to Hanauma Bay. Some would say ask why bother going then, but the walk turned out much more pleasant than it seemed. Although, we were the only ones walking along the road.
In the evening, the Bride and Groom had planned a Barbeque get-together to help break the ice between a lot of the friends of the soon-to-be-wedded couple. But the real fun didn't start until Jake's little daughter Leah wanted to play a game of Chuga-chuga-choo-choo did we all have a lot of fun. Leah is cute as a button, so how could anyone refuse? Unfortunately, "someone" made video's of the event, and may eventually come back to haunt some of us.
Just as quickly as I flew in from Denver, I flew out again today, for Honolulu! But this time, I'm purely traveling for pleasure with Sabrina. Sabrina's friend Howard is having his wedding, here in Honolulu this weekend, on the beach in Waikiki. It's the first destination Wedding I'll be going to this year, as almost all of the other weddings I've gone to this year were fairly close to home.
We flew in this afternoon, and had a quick lunch down by the mall in Waikiki, where we were also staying. Someone mentioned that the waves were extremely large today on the North Shore of the island, so we decided we could do a quick road trip across the island to help settle into Hawaii.
We stopped off in historic Haleiwa Town for shaved ice at Matsumoto's, famously recommeded by the locals. We continued on our drive up to the North Shore, stopping at Wimea Beach to catch the waves. We just missed the spectacular sunset, because of a little miscommunication with some of our other friends, but we stayed to play around on the beach in the remaining dusk light.
When I got up this morning, the weather had finally lightened up. I could see sunlight and it was dawn, as I drove to work. The amazing part was I could see that the weather storms of the past few days had dusted the mountain tops with their first snow caps of the year! It's snow season!
Sadly, today was also my last day in Colorado, and though it may have seemed cold and miserable, it made me look forward to this year's ski season.
I'm in Longmont, CO, again, the last time I was here about a year and a half ago, and surprisingly, the core pasrts of this town have changed very little. After work today, I went down to Downtown Longmont, and it looks just the same. There's a few bars and pool halls, but it seems every block has a bigger, and more rundown, pawn shop than the block before it! I don't remember there being htis many pawn shops, but maybe I just notice them more, during this trip.
The rest of Longmont is developing just like any other city in the United States. It does feel it's losing it's small town charm, and being replaced by big name retail shops and mega malls. Tonight, I had dinner at the Texas Roadhouse, where I had a signature rib eye steak. Argueably, it was much better than the rib eye, I had last night at a local steackhouse, which I shoud have figured since it was EMPTY in the dining area when I sat down.
At least there was a good crowd for Monday Night Football.
This was my welcome to cold and rainy Denver, Colorado. Oddly enough, I was just thinking how warm and sunny it was, back home in California, yesterday. The view here is just outside the Denver International Airport, while I was waiting for my shuttle to the car rental agency.
